Microneedling Utah

Microneedling therapy is a very simple procedure that uses a hand-controlled device with tiny, shallow needles to puncture your outer layer of skin to create a controlled skin injury. This damage to the skin will stimulate your body to produce new collagen and elastin. The freshly produced collagen will rejuvenate your skin by filling in fine lines, resulting in an overall improvement in the texture and tightness of your skin by removing the wrinkles, scars and •stretch marks that can make you look younger as you age.

Additionally, microneedling is not restricted to the face. It can be used on many other body parts, such as arms, legs, neck, back, hands and abdomen. One microneedling session generally takes 30 minutes. At first, your skin will appear a little bit red – similar to a light sunburn, but your skin will return to normal in a couple of days. The natural growth of collagen will not happen instantly; it takes place over weeks and months. This treatment is not designed to be an “instant fix,” but is intended to improve the health of your skin in the long term.

What skin conditions can be treated with micro needling?

  • Wrinkles
  • Stretch marks
  • Scars
  • Acne scarring
  • Skin tone
  • Fine lines
  • Loose skin
  • Large pores
  • Discoloration

Regardless of your skin color or type is, micro needling is the best treatment you can have to have to make your skin look fresh and younger.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is one of the most precise methods for getting rid of unwanted hair, which comes with a number of its own benefits. The laser targets each individual hair follicle. So it works for all skin tones, unlike some methods. In addition, it won’t leave you with ingrown hairs or random missed patches. Likewise, there’s no irritation, nicks or stubble as are often left after other hair removal techniques such as shaving, waxing or plucking.

No matter which part of your body is being targeted, hair removal with laser energy is fairly fast. for small parts like the upper lip, you can expect a session to only take a few minutes. Larger places such as your legs might require an hour or two. Remember, though, that you won’t need to return once your treatments are completed. This could be in as few as three sessions, but may take up to seven.

PDO Thread Lift

A PDO thread lift is a revolutionary new treatment in the world of aesthetics, but PDO threads themselves have been used safely for decades for various applications, like treating gynecological disorders or suturing incisions after medical procedures. When used as an aesthetic treatment, there are a few things you should know.

First, it mechanically results in instant skin lifting. Second, it contracts fat tissue to result in instant skin tightening. Third, it promotes collagen production and neovascularization to renew your skin at the cellular level. All of this works together to give you enhanced skin texture, fewer fine lines and wrinkles and more elastic skin.

There are several types of PDO threads, and each serves its own unique purpose. Depending on your aesthetic goals, your PDO provider may use one or many thread types during your anti-aging treatment.

BOTOX® Cosmetic has quickly become one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic enhancement procedures in the world. This quick, in-office treatment can give you a more youthful, refreshed appearance by smoothing out signs of wrinkles and fine lines in specific areas along the face.

Botox and other neuromodulators like Xeomin and Dysport are an injected liquid which relaxes the underlying muscles helping lines become less deep. These products are produced in a lab by a bacterium called “Clostridium botulinum”. It has been purified under very strict conditions. When injected into a small facial muscle, it doesn’t travel anywhere else in the body. It gradually wears off naturally over a 3-6 month period.

After the muscles have been relaxed for a while, it takes less to maintain that relaxation. But every patient is an individual, and there is no knowing exactly how you will respond. The effects are may be first noticed in 72 hours but it may take up to 7 days to maximize the effect. You will be asked to return within 2 weeks after the first treatment so that our injector can assess your response. The first set of Botox injections may only give a partial response. This is common and complete relaxation may be noticed after the second or third treatment. Botox is injected with a very small needle (like an insulin needle), so it causes very little pain upon injection.

Botox does not cause irritation or inflammation. Occasionally, patients have complained that there is a mild stinging sensation. Side effects include bruising, eyebrow or eyelid droops, and a temporary headache, and rare flu-like symptoms have been reported. The key factor when considering Botox therapy is injector.

At Regenerative Wellness Center, our injector has been certified in basic and advanced Botox injections. With her background of being an artist, she is able to place the Botox in the right areas to maximize the effect. She has had a lot of experience using Botox to correct a multitude of problems.

Some of the most commonly treated areas are mild to moderate fine lines on the face, such as:

  • Crow’s feet
  • Forehead lines
  • Laugh lines
  • Frown lines
  • “Bunny” lines
  • Chin dimpling

During your consultation, we will discuss your goals and help you determine if you are an eligible candidate for BOTOX Cosmetic.

Dermal Fillers

A dermal filler is simply an injectable substance contained within a gel that flows easily into your skin after injection. The most common ingredient in modern dermal fillers is hyaluronic acid. Popular brands include Juvederm® and Restylane®.

As we age as well as damage from environmental factors (UV light, chemicals, pollution, smoke, toxics),the body’s collagen declines resulting in the appearance of wrinkles, discoloration, sagging, and overall that “old” look.

Keeping your collagen levels at the maximal level relies on many different factors. One factor is maintaining a high hyaluronic acid level.  Around 50% of our body’s total hyaluronic acid (HA) is found in the skin. It acts as a scaffold for the skin on the face, providing rigidity, hydration, and turgor and helping regenerate the collagen in our face. It is also important in protecting the skin from free radical damage from all the environmental factors.
